Today, in association with The FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour, The FIFA World Cup announced that EOS’ client, the Replenish Africa Initiative (RAIN), will develop a program to serve as the organization’s Legacy Project. The program, entitled RAIN Water for Schools, focuses on supporting healthy watersheds and providing clean water to schoolchildren in 15 African countries. The 2010 FIFA World Cup will take place in South Africa, and it is customary for the organization to leave a lasting legacy in the hosting nation by undertaking a humanitarian project. The RAIN Water for Schools program was chosen as the Legacy Project because providing clean water to African children will significantly improve their educational future.
